An error occurred while saving the comment TheMajor commentedIt was removed due to not being used very much :( But there's some other big site that tracks the imdb top250 history that you could use, and it dates back to 1997: http://www.timo-schreiter.de/imdb/
There are others as well.An error occurred while saving the comment TheMajor commented@Life as Fiction
This is not what is meant by this idea. You are referring to the feature (chart) that showed to position of a movie on a list at a certain time. I thought it was nice, too, especially for the imdb lists and the top250 in particular, because new movies come and go on that list.TheMajor supported this idea · -

We’ve started working on this a while ago: https://beta.icheckmovies.com/movies
An error occurred while saving the comment TheMajor commentedIf Safari can't copy text, iCM could create a quote button on the website, Alternatively you could get a better browser (I believe Opera Mini is available for iPhone).
The advantage of using the website (in a good browser) is that you get all the features, as opposed to most apps which can be limited, but apps are usually easier to navigate.

I think copying link feature depends on your browser. An error occurred while saving the comment TheMajor commentedMoving the search area and the 'check' buttons on movie pages more to the left, would be an improvement. Or have it scale better by mobile browser like Opera (make the search bar and check buttons move to the left when zooming in on the mobile browser).
However, as they are working on a mobile app, it may not be necessary.

An error occurred while saving the comment TheMajor commentedI think improving upon the current system, user created lists, would be the best and easiest option. Grouping them in a separate category/tab.
A filmography (director) should include all films, including shorts. I don't know if lost films should be included, as they cannot be checked.
I don't think you can have the staff manage all those lists. There are simply too many. -

An error occurred while saving the comment TheMajor commentedAs long as it's not mandatory and a custom user name is possible, I like it.

An error occurred while saving the comment TheMajor commentedI suppose you can create your own list. If it gets popular, you can ask iCm to make it official.

Of course option 4 may not be necessary depending on how the first three options are implemented.

I'd like to add: a feature to select which type of updates are shown (eg friend's checks or friend's comments). I see millions of checks on the activity page, but I would prefer only to see their comments.
