Create a website-layout that is easier to use on mobile devices.
OS specific apps are nice, but designing the website-layout in such a way that it displays better on mobile devices (tablets and phones) is perhaps a faster solution.
We’ve started working on this a while ago: https://beta.icheckmovies.com/movies

Attempting to develop and maintain a website, iPhone app and Android app will prove too costly and labor intensive given that this site seems is still evolving rapidly. It's probably too late now but a mobile version of the website would have done the trick nicely with less overhead and easier updating.

Frans, Safari can select (and is a perfectly fine browser), it just doesn't work on iCM for some reason. But yeah, the site could be a little more responsive :).

Responsive web design, that's what you (ICM) need!

If Safari can't copy text, iCM could create a quote button on the website, Alternatively you could get a better browser (I believe Opera Mini is available for iPhone).
The advantage of using the website (in a good browser) is that you get all the features, as opposed to most apps which can be limited, but apps are usually easier to navigate.

The problem occurs when urls in (old) comments haven't been parsed to an actual link. I just can't copy any text on the site, which also makes it impossible to quote for example (Safari, iPhone)

@Stephan
I think copying link feature depends on your browser. -

Also, I'd like to be able to select text and/or links on my phone. No idea why this doesn't work, but copying a youtube link to a short for example is impossible.

I very much prefer a mobile site to an app. If only the list overview wasn't so wide and the search worked decentlly (please! replace the javascripted placeholder with a HTML5 one) it'd be much better.

Moving the search area and the 'check' buttons on movie pages more to the left, would be an improvement. Or have it scale better by mobile browser like Opera (make the search bar and check buttons move to the left when zooming in on the mobile browser).
However, as they are working on a mobile app, it may not be necessary.
