An error occurred while saving the comment Knaldskalle commentedActually, the "hide" function doesn't remove them. So if you come across a title from your watchlist that you've checked, you'll see that it still has that little + sign active.

An error occurred while saving the comment Knaldskalle commentedI dunno... Part of me really wants it to happen, but I just picture so many issues with it: Who to include, what to include (cameos? TV show appearances? Voice-overs?), how to implement it (it would make every movie on iCM an official check, for starters)... I think it's an interesting idea, but the problems with it seem overwhelming right now.

An error occurred while saving the comment Knaldskalle commentedI kinda like that idea, but you must realize that it can get incredibly tricky to implement - and I think that ultimately that may prevent it from happening. Let me explain:
First of all, what is available for streaming where and to whom changes regularly as deals with studios, distributors (etc.) come and go. What's available on Hulu one month may not be available the next, so this would have to be something that was automatically updated.
Secondly, not all things are available everywhere. Hulu, for instance, is only available in the US (at least as far as I know) and I think the same applies to Amazon VOD. Netflix is operating in several countries, but they only have some things available in some regions (a title may be available to Netflix subscribers in Canada, and Latin America but not the US), so I'm sure you can easily imagine the frustration people will experience if they see a "Netflix" button (or something like that) on ICM only to find out that it's not actually available where they live.
So, I like your idea, but I just don't think it'll happen, at least not anytime soon.

An error occurred while saving the comment Knaldskalle commentedYou can quote someone, only it's a little bit more work than clicking a "quote" button. Select the text you want to quote and copy it. Paste it into a comment box and put the following around the quoted text:
This is quoted text
.
Can't help with the rest, though.

An error occurred while saving the comment Knaldskalle commentedI think I'm with dpanter on this one... I can imagine it easily developing into something that would only encourage more cheating and other strange behaviors.
What TV set?
