Lists request 'Order by: favorite/check ratio'
Currently you can order lists by number of favorites, but not the ratio of favorites, which is a far better indicator of movie quality.

Another skin (different colors)
An option to choose different colors for the website. No need to change the way things are displayed, just simple colors. For example: something dark, something light. Stuff like that.

Favorites sorting helper (Flickchart-style)
This might be way outside the scope of iCM, but it'd be a very valuable addition for me (and others who are as anal about the perfect order of their top lists as I am).
In essence, I'd like to be able to compare two movies against eachother and pick which one I like better, eventually creating my final favorites list.
Flickchart already does this, but it has to learn which movies you've seen first (which takes thousands and thousands of clicks through movies) and it starts without bias (meaning for the first hundreds of votes some random movie could…5 votes -
Differentiate between profile page and dashboard page
Currently the profile page is a mixture between what others may find interesting and what I find interesting. I suggest creating a page that only you can see and is more adaptable to what you want to see when you login yourself. For example, I don't want to see my own activity stream, lists, favorites, owned, settings or awards block every time I log in. I would however like to see my friends activity, stats, checks.

Add tabs to organize the favorited personalised lists
Similar tabs to the official ones could be introduced. Certainly I would like it very much if it would be possible to organize my favorited lists in categories like director filmography/awards/country list/general all time best lists/...

More stats on compare profiles
Now we see:
You vs. xxx:
1347 - 1005 (checks)
and then compares each of the lists and shows who wins.My suggestion is also show the total number of lists won and lost.
e.g:
You vs. xxx:
1347 - 1005
80 - 40 - 13 ties5 votes -
Link to Wikipedia page
I wish you had a link to the Wikipedia page of each movie. I always do this.

Order by # of Checks by Friends
So, now we can see at a movie site which friends have seen that flick.
It would be cool if you could go on the "Unchecked films" tab and order the films by how many friends have seen a film. That way one could see which movies are popular among friends and could be watched to have a chat about.5 votes -
Make it easier to search for lists
If one makes a search for a list that matches one film, one is automatically sent to the film's page. This can be quite bothersome

Personal list top users + activity thread
Some other server intensive tasks, but maybe in the future they may be a possibility.
- Add top users on personal list pages.
- Make activity thread on personal lists work.

go back to the previous compare profile feature
In ICM 1.0, when you wanted to compare your profile to a friends, you had all the lists (with the icons) subdivised in 2 bars, one for your self, one for you friend. It was much clearer than the actual setting "You lose by X checks", to my opinion.

devise a way for individuals to choose personal lists to adopt and get some sort of quasi-award for.

Recommend films from a selction of lists
Allow user to highligh a number of lists they wish to make progress on and then ask icm to recommend films. The site would then return recomendations favoring films that appear in the most of the users chosen lists.

Dedicate more time to supply the movie artwork for individual titles.
After users add new movies from imdb, unfortunately the film artwork does not come along with it. While it's understandable that with so many movies it's difficult to make sure that "Winter Beast" gets its just due there are also new films that don't have cover art (like Bad Teacher). But in both cases it's just a bummer sometimes to look at your list of recently checked movies and see a few with no real 'identity' in the list, even though on imdb the art is readily available.

Make an option to IMDb-import from a .CSV
bc IMDb import straight from IMDb is terribly unsuccessful (working with a huge list), usually ends in error

Improve the recommendations
Currently it seems like recommendations are influenced way too much by the amount of checks a movie has. (Maybe that's the fault of the Neighbor algorithm though, not sure). As I disliked 5 of the 6 Star Wars movies, it still recommended me the last one. I think the criteria should be a lot more focused on a combination of your favorites and dislikes compared against those of others.

Import your own movies from DVD profiler
I've got quite a DVD/BluRay collection which I have already added to my DVD-profiler account. Exchange between DVD profiler and ICM would be awesome!
