  1. fix the find friends feature! It's been broken for absolutely ages...

    I check an error every time I try to use that feature and have done for months - I have no idea if any of my other friends use your service because of this.

  2. Fix the group pages

    So the group pages aren't working, at least for me, I click on the name of the group and the page just loads and loads but it doesnt open anything. I really miss checking the activity or the members of the group

  3. Show similar movies based on most overlapping checked/favorited

    On an individual movie page, I think there should be an automatically generated listing of "similar" movies based on the most frequently overlapping movies; i.e. the movies that have been most frequently checked and/or favorited along with the movie on the page by a single user.

  4. Change the cover image if there is no poster or don't display a cover at all.

    I have a few shorts in my favourites and I don't like the covers that come up for them as they look really ugly, maybe you could make the option that you can choose not to see the covers.

  5. Customize with FULL integration of PERSONAL lists added to WATCHLIST -- Huge Bang For Buck!

    Adding a list to the watchlist is essentially adopting a personal list. When I add a list to my watchlist it should be treated just like an official list. For instance...

    1. A movie's INFO tab shows all the official lists which include that film. This should be expanded to show if the movie is in any lists added to my watchlists.

    2. The Progress page should have an additional tab, "Watchlists", which shows my progress on any lists in my watchlist.

    3. Official lists give trophies but completing an "unofficial list" would award an "emblem" which would essentially be the avatar of…

  6. Make it possible, when comparing profiles, to look at another user's progress on unofficial lists, not just official ones.

    Not each of the thousands of unofficial lists, but have a button on the user's profile page "view his/her progress on your favorite/watchlist lists".

  7. Include IMDB personal rating, and top list personal rating average

    I am more and more wondering which lists i like the most.
    And I am thinking the best way to find out is to get my average IMDB rating calculated for the movies I have seen / checked in each list. The list with my highest rating average must be the list I like the most! Statistics don't lie they say...
    It would be a nice tool to see in what lists I am likely to find movies I like, and thus the list I want to concetrate on and continue to work on.

  8. Select a "VIEWED ON" tag for each film to tell us where you saw it ! (this tags each film as: CINEMA, TV, NETFLIX, NOWTV etc)

    By adding this feature, other people can filter lists on services they use (eg NETFLIX UK)
    You attract more users.
    because the searches on Netflix are rubbish, everyone wins.

  10. Add ability to ignore lists

    Not necessarily dislike, but ignore. Ignored lists should not give you notice on award updates nor should they be on the award shelf or in "progress".

  12. Integrate Streaming Services

    If a movie is available on any streaming service (Amazon, Crackle, Hulu, Netflix, etc.) provide a button on the movie's page to watch it on the service of the user's choosing.

  13. Add a runtime filter

    Add a range slider to the filters where you can specify a range of times for results e.g. Shorter than 45 minutes, longer than 15 minutes but shorter than 180 minutes, longer than 90 minutes, etc.

  16. Track how many unlisted movies users add.

    Great site. I have a suggestion. You should somehow show how many
    movies a person has added to the website (how many IMDB links added i guess). It would probably generate competition - movie fans can be very competitive and love the attention :) Just a thought

  18. Lists request 'Order by: favorite/check ratio'

    Currently you can order lists by number of favorites, but not the ratio of favorites, which is a far better indicator of movie quality.

  19. Allow people to download a screensaver based on films they've seen

    On Last.fm they have a dynamic screensaver download where your screensaver is a selection of album art based on what you listen to. I think if it could be done here with the film posters (maybe with loved films getting a priority) it could be a cool secondary feature.

  20. add a feature that shows total length of all your checks

    Like on the "myanimelist" forum, the total length of all views is shown, based on the length it says on the IMDb page for every movie, added up.
